New Year, New Samples

I pride myself on being a unique framer, offering bespoke framing touches that you can’t get anywhere else. Unique mount design and decoration is one of the key things to giving your framing project that ‘wow factor’. So I’ve been busy over Christmas developing and making some new mount samples that demonstrate how to make your frame package a complete one off.

These hand painted mounts using Farrow and Ball paints can be customised to any design to suit the subject matter. Comprising of a double mount with a channel, the channel holds the painted design with an accent line on the inside.

These mounts, cut in the same way, are hand painted with watercolour paints providing a dappled texture. They can again be customised to any colour scheme and can be applied in a darker or lighter wash for a more subtle or bold effect.

These ruled line samples are applied using a ruling pen and watercolour paints, thus making them completely custom. Colours and spacing can be determined by the customer and washes can be applied between lines.

Mounts can be fabric wrapped to provide texture and a luxurious feeling to the finished frame.

A triple mat keyline adds a touch of class and elegance to a frame. The ‘keyline’ is handpainted and can be any Farrow and Ball colour.
