These war medals and memorabilia were framed in a stacked combination of mouldings to give the depth required to house the items. A sense of depth is created with a window mount to the glass containing the photos and another aperture revealing the medals and textile badges. I worked closely with the client to create a balanced composition to all the elements.

All elements were hand stitched or attached with methods that are fully reversible. This work was completed to FATG Level 2, Conservation grade.
